Christina Milian has been a famous R&B performer throughout her career. Her birthplace was in Jersey City, New Jersey on 26th September, 1981. She decided to pursue a degree in architecture at Mount Vernon College in Washington DC However, she decided to drop the school to pursue the full-time profession of acting. Her debut film was Down Twisted. Her fame began after she took on an important role in the horror film Scream. This film had a great commercial impact, and it made 11x its original budget. The film was also praised by reviewers. She played the same role in three sequels. The popularity of her character grew following her performance in the main character in the sitcom Friends. In recognition of her performance, she received many nominations and awards. The program that became a huge success aired for 10 years. Recent work includes an acting role as a support in the film drama Mothers and Daughters. She was awarded the TV Guide Award as a for her performance as a character in Friends. The Golden Derby Award was also awarded to her in recognition of the role she played in Cougartown.
