The film was also praised by reviewers. She played the same role in three sequels. The popularity of her character grew following her performance in the main character in the sitcom Friends. In recognition of her performance, she received many nominations and awards. The program that became a huge success aired for 10 years. Recent work includes an acting role as a support in the film drama Mothers and Daughters. She was awarded the TV Guide Award as a for her performance as a character in Friends. The Golden Derby Award was also awarded to her in recognition of the role she played in Cougartown.
