Amy Smart

Amy Smart is an American former actress and model. Born and brought up in California, USA, she first began modeling in Italy. Her acting debut was in 1996, when she appeared in 'Her Costly Affair,' a TV film. The actress struggled to secure an appearance as a character for the role of a star in Starship Troopers, despite having starred in many films. She struggled with the transition between acting and modeling because models aren't typically considered acting professionals, and are usually given insignificant and small roles. Amy persevered, eventually landing bigger parts, starting with the television series "The 70's" as well as the film "Varsity Blues". Amy then stepped into principal roles on the romantic comedy film 'Just friends that also featured Ryan Reynolds. Amy became famous for her efforts in the last decade.
