Lorraine Lorraine Anna AnnaAnna Chlumsky was a highly acclaimed American actor who gained fame through films like "My Girl" and the sequel "My Girl 2". Her lead roles continued to entice audiences with films such as "Trading Mom" and "Gold Diggers: The Secret of Bear Mountain". At the start of her career her performance in the films won her a number of important prizes. The woman who missed her friends back at school during film shoots began to feel disengaged from showbiz during her senior years. It was then that she lost interest in performing and focusing on her education. The goal was food journalist however the only opportunity that was available was a fact-checker at Zagat Restaurant Guide. In fact, her new job as an editorial assistant with HarperCollins caused her to feel depressed. She opted to go back to acting. Following the guidance from her agent was able to start over by enrolling in acting classes to polish her abilities. Soon after, she was able to be cast as Liza in the show "In the Loop" and started appearing as a character in Off Broadway productions. Although she frequently thinks about the ways things could have turned out different if she hadn't decided to take a break from acting however, she's grateful that she took the time off.
