Mary McCormack is an American actor who has been known for her leading parts in the TV series 'Murder", 'The West Wind In Plain Sight' and "Loaded". Her work is also well-known due to her roles in movies such as 'Private Parts', 'Deep impact', 'True Criminal as well as '1408'. McCormack was the daughter of an ice-cream parlor owner as well as a psychologist who worked in a clinic. Her family has no connections to the entertainment industry. McCormack was a student at Wardlaw-Hartridge School and, following the divorce of her parents in the year 1990, she enrolled to Trinity College in Hartford in Connecticut. She completed the BA program in Comparative arts. When she was just 12 when she began her stage career, it started by performing in "Amahl The Night Visitor, and Amahl" an opera for Christmas. She continued to play on stage and finally landed roles on both the small and the big screen. McCormack has been regarded as one of the most flexible Hollywood actors. She has three daughters and a husband who is a producer/director Michael Morris.
