Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira (born May 26 1977) was born in Campinas, Sao Paulo. Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009) and A Indomada (1997) are among her many credits as a performer. Ana Paula Oliveira joined the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime in the month of March, 2020. She is currently an analyst in charge of the Assassination Witness project, and is an integral member of the G-TOC's multilateral engagement team. Within her position with GI TOC She focuses on disappearances, assassinations and other violence of all kinds in the contexts of illegal economies. Her interests in research also include the effects of criminal organizations on human rights and humanitarian law and policy. Ana Paula has an LL.M. cum louise (with honors) in International Law from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Geneva. She holds a LL.M. with a concentration in Public Law, as well as an MBA in international relations from Fundacao Getulio Vargas. Ana Paula received a magnacum laude bachelor's degree from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro in Legal and Social Sciences. She has been a practicing lawyer for more than four years, working in a firm focused on civil litigation that involves public law. The past experience she has had also involved helping in roles with non-governmental organisations with their headquarters within Rio de Janeiro and Geneva.
